2021 Nanshan Pop Music Festival is organized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Nanshan District Committee, the Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports of Nanshan District, Shenzhen, and China Resources Culture and Sports Development Co.. With the theme of "Music Classics, Music Pops, Music Attracts", the festival seeks to discover the pop culture of Nanshan district, of its "innovation, vitality, youth", which focus on elegance, positivity, and bringing musical revelry to the community. MOBIUS-- Concert of Diversified Fusion is held at the "Spring Cocoon" Statdium-- Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, on the evening of May 27, 2021. Th3 music was comissioned by Cadillac Shanghai Concert Hall's Infinite Music Series Fourth Season, and was premiered in Shanghai in March 2021 and has been well received by all parties.
At the beginning of this project, the creative team has done a lot of in-depth thinking. After the premiere of the concert hall version, the question of "how to try to pioneer the 2.0 version of 'Journey Against Time'" was raised. Considering the changes from a 1200-seat concert hall to a 10,000-seat stadium, with a completely different venue, a different stage configuration and a different viewing effect, what lies ahead of the team was both a greater possibility and an unknown challenge. After many intensive discussions, the team decided to make a "big move" and recreate the lighting and a new version of the video for MOBIUS. With the joint efforts of the production team and the musicians, the musical aesthetics of the work were expressed with ultimate impact. As the first online live broadcast of this year's Pop Music Festival, more than 341,000 people watched the performance online and the show received many praises from the audience.
